Support: Graphic Types and Social Media

Q: What type graphics do different social media platforms support?
A: WarCats provides animated GIFs with an option for different files conversions. Currently, the following standards are found on different social media platforms.

Truth Social: Using the GIF format, Truth Social supports animated profile images and backgrounds viewable animated within desktop browsers. On phones, animated profile images remain static on first animation frame. Post content animate with the GIF format.
X/Twitter supports PNG and JPEG file formats but does not currently support animated profile or background images. Animated GIF content animate within X posts. A free tool and offered service are offered for animated GIF to either PNG or JPEG conversion for use on X.
Facebook uses the GIF format but does not animate GIFs and shows only the animation's first frame.

Q: How is my purchase delivered?
A: WarCats sends a download link for purchases to your provided email address. To download files, either left-click the email download button or right-click the file name and select "Save As". File is saved to your default download folder.

Q: How can I get a purchased animated GIF converted to other formats for different social media platforms?
A: There are two methods:

Use one of the free online conversion tools such as EZGIF.
Send us a request to WarCats including #Order Number from emailed receipt

How: Download and Change Image

1. Click Download (Graphic/Button)

2. Select Download: On the file-content-page, click the button (top) which indicating 'download file'. Your file download will begin. Save and store file accessible to your Truth Social account.

3. If downloading a ZIP files: Though each platform is different, all (Windows/iPhone/Android) have a built-in application to extract from zip files. Use this application to extract your new graphics.

4. Upload to Truth Social/SM: On your TS profile page, select 'Edit Profile'. Under 'Choose Profile Picture', select 'Choose File'. Find the downloaded GIF file on your device and open the file and enjoy!

Notes:
1. After selecting file, upload is complete when 'Save' once again can be selected. Refresh your home page and the new graphic will appear.
2. Truth Social is the first platform to support animated backgrounds and profile images. Older social media platforms (X, Facebook, etc.) do not support animation yet. To adapt, the zip file also includes a still-frame PNG version of your graphics for those older social media platforms.
